Virginie Cole, French Artist.
View Artist Virginie coles web site www.lamachouille.com. She is a talented painter and loves to work with paper mache. She has a big passion for animals so it's not surprising they feature in almost all her work. I first came across her on www.papiermache.co.uk two years ago.
Meg Lemieur, American Artist living and working in the USA.
Meg is a superb enthusiastic young artist. She demonstrates the amazing versatility of Paper. when used in modelling or sculpture.
It was very exciting for us to have her present her own 'Window' sculpture. All the objects she has so carefully created presents the traditional story of 'Jack and the Bean Stalk'.
Her work is inspirational to anyone who wants to start making art objects with this material. check out http://www.papiermache.co.uk/gallery/artist/361/1#gallery
Jane, is a French Artist living and working in the Cote D'Azur.
Jane's Window speaks of Love. Well this is France after all. Jane and her business partner Cosmi share a gallery tucked away at the top of our village. They joined us half way through the project and their addition was a real bonus. They are both professional Artists and enjoy experimenting their painting skills on all kinds of objects. I guess this was the very first time that they had ever painted Windows!
Aurore's 'Window'.
Aurore put much effort into creating her interior which is full of worn out objects. An old chair, broken spectacle's, torn books, an old coat etc. The interior is dark and gloomy but the exterior is much more positive. Aurore recognizes how easy it is for some people to become prisoners in their own home.
Paula's Window.
Paula had a particular friend in mind as she conceived her Window design. She used materials and patterns that reminded her of her friends home, experiences and interests.
